| Space Camp = Wielka Przygoda |
|
Wakacje... Dla ogromniej większości z nas czas odpoczynku. Zapominamy o lekcjach, o szkole, o nauce. W końcu mamy czas na słodkie leniuchowanie na łonie natury, na spacery nad brzegiem morza, zdobywanie górskich szczytów czy też spotkania z przyjaciółmi. Kto by tam myślał o nauce? A jednak... Dla 12 dziewcząt z gimnazjum te wakacje były absolutnie wyjątkowe. W dniach 12-18 lipca 2009 uczestniczyły one w obozie naukowym organizacji Space Camp w Turcji. Lot promem Discovery? Tu wszystko jest możliwe. A o wrażeniach opowiedzą najlepiej same uczestniczki
....................................... While attending Space Camp Turkey (12.08 – 18.08.2009) I have noticed that my English has improved dramatically and I was able to communicate with people from other countries easily and talk to them about everything. However, it was hard sometimes to speak just English because Greeks for example spent most of the time with Greeks and it was easier to speak in the native language. The possibility of attending Space Camp was great and it exceeded my expectations (I also made many friends, I think I’ve even beaten my life record …)! The next great thing about Space Camp was the opportunity to learn about space not only from lectures, but also by working in a team – which is really important. There were also many experiments and demonstrations. Even though I prefer observing than taking part in other sorts of activities, I found most of them enjoyable. Thank you very much for letting me spend the time of my life on Space Camp. Julia Rozlach
I had great fun during Space Camp Turkey. I met a lot of new friends and I know I will remember this holidays to the rest of my life. I learned a lot of new things which I will be able to use at school – I hope that the experiences will help me to improve my physics grades. I’m happy because I made new friends – they are from Turkey, Greece, Israel and I’m planning to go to their countries in next year – I think it will be great fun. Simulators and team games were amazing and I will never forget that extraordinary experience. All in all, I fell in love with Space Camp Turkey and it was the best time of my life. Małgorzata Ludek
Vacation with Space Camp, in Turkey was one of the best holidays in my life. There was an amazing atmosphere and I could learn many new things. However, the most important for me was that I could meet new great and friendly people. I am under a huge impression that somebody can organize everything so well. It is fascinating that you can connect as many interesting things like learning but at the same time having lots of fun. I had a great time when my team was using simulators and I also enjoyed learning. It is extremely difficult for everyone to be satisfied at the same time but everyone was happy in Space Camp. I would love to come back to Turkey one day and meet up with the people I have met during the whole experience as I really miss them. I am very disappointed that Space Camp has finished already. It lasted just six days but I know that I will always remember these six special days until the end of my life. Żaneta Gryka
Between 12-18 July I was on Space Camp Turkey in a group called Jupiter. In my group there were Greeks, Turks, Israelis, Bulgarians and of course Poles. My group worked well together and we made international friendships and after a couple of days everyone got to know each other well. All members of the camp had a friend from countries. I met: boys from Bulgaria, girls from Greece, girls from Turkey, boys from Israel and we became good friends. I think that global friendship is a very important experience because everyone can communicate in English and make their own English better. Natalia Ostaszewska |
