About us...

Call us „white” – because of the white veils we are wearing.

The convent in Ostrzeszów has been home to the novitiate of the Warsaw Province of the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth since 1946.
The time of Novitiate, which is preceded by affiliacy and postulancy, is a very crucial phase of our initial spiritual formation. In this atmosphere of quiet, far from the hubbub of the world, we are preparing through prayer, community life, study and work, for that day when we will give our lives for the service of God and Church. One can say that the novitiate is an intensive “school” of religious life. At the end of this two-year-novitiate, we pronounce for the first time the vows of chastity, poverty and obedience and…. set off into the world.

although we have very little, we want to share it with others.




We express our gratitude through simple and sincere prayer for all our benefactors and sponsors:
- once a month Mass is said in their intentions,
- every Wednesday at 6 p.m. we pray the rosary in their intentions,
- every day we entrust every family to the Holy Family,
- as novices, we say novenas to our blessed Foundress and the Martyred Sisters from Nowogrodek,
- every day during the exposition of the Blessed Sacrament we pray for all people of good will.


We will also include your intentions in our unceasing prayers.
It is enough to send your intentions to us.
